Ramat Lodge is loved by all and regarded as one of the friendliest and most homely lodges in Niseko.

Centrally located, Ramat Lodge offers the perfect base for skiing enthusiasts, with quick access to both the ski chairlifts and the vibrant village center. Whether you’re carving down the slopes or exploring the unique culture of Hokkaido, our lodge is your cozy haven after a day of adventure.
The lodge sports a 52â LCD television with cable TV and an extensive DVD library in the lounge area, a bar with a FREE pool table, and a commercial-grade kitchen for guests to use. Guests are also able to enjoy looking out to the magnificent Mt Yotei from either level of the lodge.
With Ramat Lodge only a few minutes, less than two kilometers, away from the base chairlifts and just over a kilometer to the center of the village the attraction of Niseko powder and its restaurants awaits you.
With three different FREE shuttle services available (Grand Hirafu shuttle, our In-House, and First Tracks shuttles) you will not miss a second of the action whilst living in a seemingly secluded snow lodge retreat.
Ramat Lodge features an in-house bar with 3 beer taps and a fully stocked cabinet.
With great facilities including a pool table, darts board, cable TV, and cards there is no better way to spend a lazy evening after a full day of shredding. So come on over for a few drinks and mingle.

We do not advocate parties within the lodge. All guests must respect each other and understand it is quiet time after 10pm.
If you are looking for a friendly place to stay with a relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a drink or two at the bar then look no further. However, if you want something more party-like, then Ramat Niseko will not suit you.
The upstairs lounge is a cozy retreat where guests can unwind and socialize after a day on the slopes. This spacious area is the main socialising vicinity both before and after a great day in the Niseko powder.
Whether it be breakfast, which is included, or a few quiet drinks over a game of cards this is the place where friends are made. The kitchen is directly next to this area allowing you to cook and eat your own food with ease.

Snowgum and Ramat Niseko conduct mostly all transactions in cash. It is for this reason, that we ask you to please bring an appropriate amount of Japanese yen with you. For locations on the nearest ATMs, please read our âMoneyâ section in Travel Info.
However, we do have the ability to transact some larger amounts by Credit Card. This form of payment can be sometimes unreliable and it is, therefore, a good idea to keep enough cash on you to finalize your bill in Japanese yen.
Ramat and Snowgum Lodges are just over a kilometer from the center of Niseko Hirafu Village, which is the main village of the world-famous Niseko ski fields. The free Grand Hirafu shuttle runs daily between 8:30 am â 8:30 pm with the closest stop only 150m from the lodge (yellow dot stop 23) and only takes 5 minutes to get you to the gondola and about 7 minutes to the Welcome Centre.
We also run an in-house first-track shuttle service to get you to the ski lifts (only 2 km away) for fresh tracks every morning. Have a look at our getting around the page to see how easy it is to get around Hirafu Village.
Restaurants: Ramat and Snowgum Lodges are located in Izumikyo Stage 2, the East Village of Hirafu about 1 km from the center of town and 2 km from the ski lifts. There are 7 great restaurants and cafes near the lodges, with the closest being a quaint little Austrian restaurant called Mozartâs, about a 2-3 mins walk.
Another great restaurant just minutes up the road is the Soup Curry restaurant. Many guests in the Niseko area stop in here for a great Japanese curry and dabble in the opportunity to choose their level of spice (1 â 20, and please choose carefully, 20 will blow your mind).

Convenience stores: There are 2 convenience stores located in the village; Lawsonâs (map # 11) and Seiko Mart (map # 12).

Supermarkets: Apart from the 2 convenience stores the only other place to get groceries from are stores located in Kutchan (the nearest town is about 10 minute drive away). There are 2 supermarkets in town; MaxValue and Co-op which are easily accessible by the NisekoâKutchan bus.
