STEP 1

At the airport

Flight delayed? Go to the counter anyway, then see what to do →

Domestic Terminal

1F, Tour Desk #2, near JAL arrivals

International Terminal

2F, tour desk

Domestic Terminal: crossing from Gates 1, 2 or 3

Arriving at Gate 1, 2 or 3? That is ANA, AIR DO, IBEX and Peach. The middle of the terminal is a vehicle lane, so you cannot walk through on the first floor.

Easiest: take the escalator or lift up to the second floor, walk across, and come down on the JAL side.

Or outside: exit the terminal, turn left, follow the building for 3 to 5 minutes, come back in at the automatic doors by bus stop 14, then turn right to the desk.

Gates 4 and 5 (JAL, Jetstar, Skymark, FDA, Spring) land on the same side as the desk.

1

Find the counter

Domestic Terminal: 1F, Tour Desk #2, about 20 m from JAL arrivals.

International Terminal: 2F tour desk.

2

Check in

Give the staff your name (and your booking number if they ask). Staff speak English.

3

Be ready to board

Be at the counter 15 minutes before departure. The bus does not wait for late passengers.

STEP 2

Settle in for the ride

About 2 hours 45 minutes to the Hirafu Welcome Centre, one rest stop on the way. Boots off, seatbelt on.

Your stop is the Hirafu Welcome Centre, the first stop in Niseko. The bus carries on to other resorts, so don’t stay on.

STEP 3

Arriving in Niseko: the Hirafu Welcome Centre

No need to book the pickup in advance. As long as we have your bus time, from our bus booking portal or the Transfer Information form, just let us know when you get there.

Arrive at the Hirafu Welcome Centre

The bus drops you at the door. Grab your bags and head inside.

Tap your pickup link, or call us

Open your check-in email and tap the pickup link. No link or no signal? Call 0136-215-088 from the payphone out the front (¥100 coin).

Our van is on its way

  • Look for the Ramat Niseko van with the blue logo.
  • Wait inside where it’s warm and watch the TV screens. We’ll come in and find you.
  • No van after 20 minutes? Call 0136-215-088.

Bring whatever you’ve got, the van takes it all. Big group? Tell us how many and we’ll send enough vans.

You can order a taxi on the GO Taxi app if you prefer, but our van is free. Our lodge addresses →

Heading home? Departure day

GOING HOME

Departure day

Booked your bus?

  • Be in the lobby 30 minutes before your bus. We’ll drive you up.
  • We drop you at the Welcome Centre. Your bus number and time are on your booking.
  • We have your bus time if you booked through our bus booking portal or sent the form.
  • Not sure we have it? Send it via the link below.

Haven't booked your bus yet?

  • Book it via the Transfer Planner.
  • Our bus booking portal closes 9 days before travel, so book 9 or more days ahead.

Leaving another way?

  • Private transfer, train or car.
  • Tell us your plans so we know when you’re leaving.

Buses must be booked in advance. Walk-up tickets are rare in peak season, and the bus won’t wait.

If it goes wrong

Delayed into New Chitose

  • Landing before your bus leaves? Go to the Resort Liner counter as normal.
  • Landing after it? Still go to the counter. They can see the delay and will put you on the next bus with space (in peak season that can be a few hours).
  • This only works if the flight number on your bus booking is correct, so check it when you book.
  • If no bus works any more, ask the counter to cancel your booking and we’ll refund it.

I’m now arriving on a different flight

  • The bus company won’t know your new flight.
  • Email us (best, it’s written down; call if you can’t): which flight was delayed or cancelled, and for the flight you’re now arriving on, the flight number, date and arrival time. The bus company asks for all three.
  • We update the bus company. They rebook you on the next bus with space, or refund you if nothing fits.

Too late for any bus today? Email us. We’ll cancel your bus booking and refund it. Then it’s the last train from New Chitose to Kutchan, or a taxi (roughly ¥40,000, depending on conditions), or an airport hotel and the first bus in the morning. Email us either way so we know when to expect you.

Common questions

No. As long as we have your arrival details before you land, through our bus booking portal or the Transfer Information form. On the day, tap the pickup link in your check-in email, or call 0136-215-088, when you get there.

If you booked through our bus booking portal, we already have every bus. If not, submit a Transfer Information form for each arrival. On the day, each group taps the link or calls when they get to the Welcome Centre, and tells us how many people.

You can, on the GO Taxi app, but our van is free and usually quicker. If you do, the lodge addresses are on the Transfer Planner →

Follow this guide on the day, nothing changes for you.

Most agents send us your transfer details, but not all do. Send them anyway, it takes a minute. A duplicate does no harm.

Transfer Information form

Yes. Same van, same number, same Welcome Centre.

On the bus: one ski or snowboard set plus one bag per person, packed in a case. In our van: whatever you’ve got.

On the Airport to Lodge page, or the last page of the Bus Guide PDF.

Book it via the Transfer Planner. Our bus booking portal closes 9 days before travel.

Inside 9 days you can still get a seat, you just book direct with the bus companies instead. The Transfer Planner has the links and numbers.
