This page covers both our lodges – Ramat Lodge and Snowgum Lodge.

Once your flights are booked, use this page to choose the best way to reach the lodge and send us your transfer details, so we can plan for your arrival and departure.

Please plan your transfers and send us your details at least 2 weeks before you arrive. That leaves time to book your bus before the 9-day cutoff.

🚌 I want to book bus transfers (New Chitose ⇄ Niseko) - ✅Recommended

The bus is the easiest and most recommended way to travel between New Chitose Airport and Niseko (Hirafu Welcome Centre).

Every bus arrives at the Hirafu Welcome Centre, just up the road from the lodge. The day before you arrive, we’ll send you a link. Tap it when you reach the Welcome Centre and we’ll come and get you and your gear. The trip from the airport takes around 3 hours and costs roughly ¥6,000 each way.

✈️ First, check your flight times against the bus timetable.
📑 Then, pick the tab below that matches your travel dates.
📝 Finally, follow our bus guide to catch the bus.

Book at least 9 days before your travel date, that’s the last day online bookings are open. Inside 9 days, you’ll need to contact the bus companies directly.

Pick the tab that matches where you’re at:

Head to our Transfers Booking Page to book the Resort Liner bus between New Chitose Airport and the Hirafu Welcome Centre.

Important Note: Book through our Transfers Booking Page and we’ll receive your details automatically. No need to send them separately.

🚧 Bus bookings for the 2026-27 winter haven’t opened yet. They usually go live in September, and we’ll email you as soon as they open. There’s nothing you need to do right now.

Seats may still be available. Try booking directly with one of the bus companies below, online or by phone.

📍 For taxis and car hire, you can find our address details here:
     ✅ ramatniseko.com/contact-us
     ✅ Google Maps link
✅ When searching on map apps, use “Ramat Niseko.”

🚗 Driving yourself? On arrival, check in with our staff for the best parking spot. Please be mindful of snow sliding off the roof, and with Niseko’s famous snowfall, parking can sometimes be limited, so you may need a short walk from your car.

If you’re staying in or near Hirafu, we can arrange a pick-up on arrival or a drop-off on departure. Use the button below to organise this.

If you’re staying further out, please make your way to the Hirafu Welcome Centre or arrange a taxi to the lodge. In that case, use the “I’ve already booked my own bus” or “I will use a car for arrival or departure” options above to share your arrival details.

The train from New Chitose Airport is an option, but it’s not our top recommendation for getting to Niseko. We generally recommend the train only if your flights don’t align with bus schedules, or if you’re travelling from elsewhere in Japan by rail.

Keep in mind:

  • Closest station is Kutchan, about a 15-minute taxi ride from Ramat Niseko.

  • Most routes require a transfer in Otaru (waits of 10–60 minutes).

  • Managing ski gear on trains can be tricky.

  • No lodge pick-up from Kutchan, you’ll need to arrange a taxi or local bus.
