There are several onsens (natural hot-springs) located around the village which are a great source of relaxation and have the ability to help sooth your tired muscles after a day on the slopes. Please note that most of these onsens are traditional properties and therefore require all patrons undress completely before entering the bathing area.

In addition, customarily in Japan people with tattoos are forbidden to enter onsens therefore people with tattoos should inform the front desk on arrival to check if they will be allowed to enter the baths. If you are declined please accept this gracefully without getting into an argument with the staff.
