We’re proud to offer a scholarship to help the next generation of hospitality and tourism professionals reach their full potential.

About the Scholarship

Ramat Niseko will award a $500 USD scholarship (approximately 780 AUD / 75,000 JPY) to one student currently enrolled in a hospitality or tourism-related program.

This scholarship is open to students worldwide who are passionate about building a career in the hospitality, tourism, or travel sectors.

Who Can Apply?

To be eligible for the Ramat Niseko Hospitality & Tourism Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be currently enrolled (or accepted) in an accredited college, university, or trade school, studying hospitality, tourism, travel, hotel management, or a related field.
  • Be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
  • Submit an original essay (see below).
  • Provide proof of enrollment if selected.

How to Apply

Applicants must submit a 700-1,000 word essay answering the following question:
“How can the hospitality and tourism industries create more meaningful travel experiences for guests in a post-pandemic world?”

Essays will be judged on:

  • Creativity and originality
  • Relevance to the theme
  • Clarity and structure
  • Practical insights or examples

Selection Process

Include the following in your application:

  • Full name
  • Age
  • Country of residence
  • School name and program
  • Essay as a PDF or Word document

Deadline

All applications must be submitted by August 15, 2025.

The winner will be notified via email by  September 15, 2025.

  • The winner grants permission for their name, school, and a portion of their essay to be published on the Ramat Niseko website and social channels.

  • The scholarship will be paid in AUD, JPY, or USD, depending on the student’s country of residence, via bank transfer or PayPal.
